Name: Bill Reed

Alias: Bill

Date of Birth: 07/15/51

Country: USA

State/Province: New York

City/Town: Oswego

3 Favorite DBA armies: New Kingdom Egyptians because they were my first miniatures army; Later Polish; Antigonid because of the image of a one-eyed eighty year old leading his phalanxes into combat at Ipsus.

Do you use DBA Online for Tournaments or for games with a couple particular people? I use DBAOL for both tournament play and one-off games.

DBAOL frequency of play: During the week at least once per day. On the weekends, as often as I can while working around the demands of family.

Favorite Military History Period: Renaissance, especially in Eastern Europe and the areas of the Ottoman Empire.(Victor-whenever you get to an online version of DBR, you can count on my subscription.) Also growing fascination with the Successor period.

Other hobbies: Toronto Maple Leafs hockey, military history, listening to jazz, especially Miles Davis and John Coltrane.

Occupation (Job): Supervise adult protective services for my county government.

What would you like other wargamers to know about DBAOL? DBAOL is the best thing that's happened to online wargaming in years. Historically based and not dependent on quick reflexes and a fast trigger finger.

What other wargames do you play? Steel Panthers in all its incarnations; Close Combat II, the various Battleground games from Talonsoft.
