3 Favorite DBA armies: Have only begun to play DBA with DBAOL so am still learning. I like armies with some powerful attacking units (Pikes, Knights/HCh or Elephants) I can throw in rather than subtle manoevre. My favourites are probably Khmer, Alexandrian Macedonian and some Chinese armies.
Do you use DBA Online for Tournaments or for games with a couple particular people? Have tried a couple of tournaments and also played with probably 25 people from almost as many countries.
DBAOL frequency of play: Try to play about 5 days a week probably just under an hour.
Favorite Military History Period: Ancients particularly the classical period from Greece/Persia through to Early Imperial Rome. Japanese military history mainly the warring states period up to the establishment of the Tokugawa shogunate.
Other hobbies: Fitness and martial arts (that is what brought me to Asia in the first place). Scuba diving. Travel.
Occupation (Job): Currently a student. I have my final exams for an MBA next week, then I guess I will have to find a job. I was in the military for a couiple of years and since then have been in computing. Most recentlty have been setting up or managing branches of software companies in Asia or consulting to IT companies on the computer market in Asia. My next job is likely to be a complete change.
What would you like other wargamers to know about DBAOL? Would really love to see an online version of DBM. Have not yet had a chance to play it but the rules look very interetesting.
What other wargames do you play? A few computer wargames (Close Combat series, The Operational Art Of War, Talnonsoft). Have not had a chnace to play miniatures wargames for about 14 years as I have moved around a lot and before the internet was not aware of other players in Asia.
