For those who know precisely what they're looking for, Cisco IOS Bridging and IBM Network Solutions is a godsend. The rest of us may find it mind-boggling at the very least. Like Dante's Inferno, IBM networking has multiple and convoluted levels that may be accompanied by wailing and gnashing of teeth, at least for the uninitiated. But this volume nobly plunges forward, discussing the protocols and technologies Cisco developed to enable routing and bridging over IBM networking systems.
